1. Scope and contact

This policy explains how KAADEMI handles personal information when you visit kaademi.com or contact us about the company or its planned application.

KAADEMI is the data controller: a French société par actions simplifiée (SAS), registered under SIREN 100 145 382, with its registered office at 16 rue Denis Diderot, 45800 Saint-Jean-de-Braye, France. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@kaademi.com or write to that address. Further company details appear in our Legal Notice.

The website currently presents Kaademi before the public launch of its study application. It does not offer account creation, a mailing-list sign-up, payments, course uploads or an AI chat. We will provide the application's privacy information before opening those features to users. This website policy does not authorise the processing of student materials through the future application.

2. Information we process and why

Website connections. To send pages to your browser and protect the website, our hosting infrastructure processes connection information such as your IP address, the requested page, the time of the request and technical information sent by your browser. Technical logs may also contain response codes and error details. We use this information to deliver the website, diagnose failures and investigate misuse, based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functional website.

Email enquiries. If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message, attachments and related correspondence information. We use them to answer and follow up on your enquiry. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract where that applies. Providing information by email is voluntary, but we need an address to reply. Please do not send passwords, payment details, course recordings or unnecessary sensitive information.

Privacy requests and legal matters. We use information needed to handle rights requests and comply with applicable legal obligations. Where necessary, we also retain relevant information to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, based on our legitimate interest in protecting our rights.

Information comes directly from your browser or from you when you contact us. We do not use it for automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Cookies, analytics and advertising

This version of the website does not use analytics or advertising trackers, session replay, or cookies or local identifiers for those purposes. PostHog, TikTok and Sentry are not loaded on this website. We do not sell visitors' personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not send newsletters or marketing emails based on an enquiry.

Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change this behaviour: optional tracking and advertising sharing remain off for all visitors. If we introduce optional tracking later, we will update this notice and obtain consent where required before activating it.

4. Who receives information and where

Within KAADEMI, the founder handles website administration and incoming correspondence. Hostinger provides the website infrastructure and hosts the contact mailbox, processing the information necessary to provide those services. Relevant legal advisers or public authorities may receive limited information where needed for a legal claim or legal obligation.

The website runs on a Hostinger VPS in Paris, France. The hosting provider is Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, Larnaca 6023, Cyprus. The VPS location does not mean that all email processing, support access or subcontracted processing takes place in France. Information may be processed outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area through Hostinger's service chain.

Hostinger's Data Processing Addendum provides for European Commission standard contractual clauses for relevant transfers to countries without an applicable adequacy decision. Its Privacy Policy describes its international processing. You can contact us to request information about the safeguards applicable to your data or a copy of the relevant safeguards.

Browsing this website does not send your information to the OCR, transcription, AI or payment providers planned for the application. External websites you choose to visit have their own privacy practices. Clicking an email link opens your email application; no enquiry is sent until you send a message.

5. How long we keep information

  • Routine website technical logs: a maximum of 7 days in active systems. If an incident is identified, we may isolate the entries necessary to investigate and resolve it. We delete those entries when that purpose ends, unless they are still necessary for a related legal claim or legal obligation.
  • Ordinary email correspondence: for the time needed to handle the enquiry, then up to 6 months after it is resolved.
  • Privacy requests: for the time needed to verify and respond to the request. Any further retention is limited to the evidence necessary to demonstrate compliance or handle an actual dispute, for the applicable legal period.
  • Legal records: relevant information may be retained separately for the period required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend a claim, taking account of the applicable limitation period and the conclusion of proceedings. Access is restricted to that purpose.

Daily VPS backups can temporarily contain earlier copies of technical logs after deletion from active systems. Hostinger's daily-backup rotation retains the two most recent daily backups and the two most recent weekly backups, replacing the oldest backup of each type. These copies expire through that rotation and are not used for ordinary visitor monitoring. If data is restored, applicable deletions must be reapplied. Deleting correspondence from our mailbox does not delete messages in your own mailbox or copies independently held by your email provider.

6. Your rights

Under the conditions provided by applicable data-protection law, you may request access to your information, correction, erasure, restriction of processing or data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may also give instructions concerning the retention, deletion and communication of your personal data after your death, as provided by French law.

Email contact@kaademi.com to exercise your rights. We only request additional identity information where reasonably necessary to verify the request. We normally respond within one month of receipt. If a lawful extension is needed because of complexity or the number of requests, we will explain the reason and extended deadline within that first month. We do not penalise you for exercising your rights.

You can complain to the French data-protection authority, the CNIL, or another competent supervisory authority. Applicable mandatory rights under other laws remain available.

7. Young visitors and policy changes

The planned Kaademi application is intended for university students aged 18 or older. This presentation website does not provide student accounts or invite children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can assess and appropriately delete it.

When our website or data practices change, we will update this policy and its date. We will provide additional notice or seek consent where required. Information about the application's data practices will be available before its public use begins.
